Casablanca Events & Animation organizes in partnership with the Royal Moroccan Federation of Urban Sports, the 1st edition of the Casablanca Urban Sports Festival from 19 to 21 November 2021 at the Al Amal Complex in Casablanca.
This event, to be experienced in person and live on the social networks of Wecasablanca, is part of the celebrations of the 5th anniversary of the launch of the territorial brand.
Wecasablanca was indeed launched on October 24, 2016, more than just a brand, an affirmation of the identity of Casablanca and its inhabitants but also a standard bearer of the strategy of attractiveness and inclusion supported, in particular, by an active promotion of culture and sport in the city.
The Casablanca Urban Sports Festival aims to promote urban sports by offering youth a professional platform to practice their passion in optimal conditions.
A call for applications targeting young people aged 14 and over was launched from 3 to 12 November on the social networks Wecasablanca. Nearly 200 candidates sent a 60-second video showing their best performances in the different disciplines: Freestyle ball, Free Running, Scooter, Skateboard, Rollers.
The jury made up of members of the FRMSU, different associations and Moroccan champions has selected 137 young people to participate in the events that will be held from 19 to 21 November 2021 at the Al Amal Complex according to the schedule below:
Friday 19 November: Freestyle ball, Free Running, Scooter
Saturday November 20, 2021: Skateboarding, Rollerblading
Sunday, November 21, 2021: Meet the grand finale!
The general public is invited to follow this 1st edition of the Casablanca Urban Sports Festival on social networks Wecasablanca or in person on invitation at the Al Amal Complex in Casablanca from 10am to 6pm. Health pass required.
