Gender equality and women’s participation in society are important indicators of development today. Strengthening them is one of the major challenges of modern Morocco.
Sporting activities still remain low in Morocco and have even decreased in the school system.
The Commission proposes to continue developing prevention programs dedicated to certain diseases… and to strengthen health education initiatives… Prevention also requires… promoting a healthy living environment in territories (green spaces, sports facilities, and activities).

The 2nd edition of the Women’s Road Race in Casablanca will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2024, starting from the Al Amal sports complex.
The event is the result of institutional partnership between several partners, including the Municipality of Casablanca, the Wilaya of the Casablanca-Settat region, the Regional Council of Casablanca-Settat, the Regional Academy of Education and Training, and the local development company, Casablanca Events & Sports Animations.
Organized on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the women’s road race aims to highlight women of all ages and backgrounds on an 8 km course in the Hay Hassani prefecture.
