For this second meeting of the year, Farid Bensaid, solo violin of the Orchestra, will be alongside the pianist Dafné Claudia Sevilla, in two emblematic sonatas of the repertoire. Beethoven’s “Spring” sonata takes its name from the springtime joy that comes from it. As for Franck’s sonata, it is certainly the most dreaded and most played violin sonata in the repertoire because of its exceptional expressive power.
